The Chihuahua likes to play often on his own. It's great if you have the time to throw a ball to him. The Chihuahua also likes to rest near his owner.This dog is very protective of his owners and will generally need to know where you are so he can watch you and try his best to protect you.

If you are able to take the Chihuahua on two short walks a day that would be great. This dog does not need extended walks like other breeds.
