Chihuahua's are very loyal animals and very protective of their owners. Among the smallest of all dog breeds, the Chihuahua thinks he is a great big and tough guard dog. This breed will alert you to someone entering their territory. Unfortunately, due to their diminutive size, alerting you to a stranger approaching is about all they can do.
