The Jack Russell Terrier is a leader and a protective dog. He will eventually warm up to the idea of making new dog friends. However, it is important to note that the Jack Russell tends to want to dominate. You should make introductions to new dogs very slowly while both dogs can be controlled on a chain. You may have to do this over the course of several introductions to the same animal before a nice bond between the two will develop. We are searching for a great picture of this breed. |
