The Grey Hound is a breed which requires daily exercise in order to control possible behavioral issues and otherwise to keep the dog healthy. This breed would love to become part of a family who has a large fenced in yard for lots of play time. Even with a fence, you can not let this breed run free. He will need to be kept on a lead. If your Grey Hound spots a small animal a fence alone is not enough to contain him.The Grey Hound was bred to chase small animals and this is something that you can not "take" out of this breed.
